Svitlana Bilokon graduated from the Faculty of Biology of 乐播传媒 State University named after I.I. Mechnikov in 1994. In 1997, she graduated her pre doctorate course from Odessa State University. The defense of the dissertation took place in the specialized Academic Council of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute - National Center of Seed and Cultivar Investigation. In 2007, he was awarded the scientific degree of candidate of biological sciences with the specialty 03.00.15 - genetics, in 2015 - the academic title of associate professor of the department of genetics and molecular biology. From 2007 to 2022 鈥� academic secretary of the department, since 2015 鈥� secretary of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Biology

Author of more than 70 scientific publications, 6 articles in scientometric databases (Web of Science, Scopus), 10 educational and methodological publications, articles in professional publications of Ukraine, 1 patent

Scientific interests: Drosophila genetics, biotesting, population genetics, human genetics, bioethics and biosafety.
